If you just started seeing this, I’ll sum it up for you:
Gazza people keep suffering .
1) Israel and Palestinians made an agreement and a truce was established
2) Israel didn’t honor the terms and continued to block the borders on Gaza and prevented Food and Medicine from entering Gazza. A population of 1.5 millions were either starving to death or dying from simple diseases like cold flues due to lack of medicine.
3) Truce ends, Palestinians choose not to extend this fake truce, because obviously Israel won’t allow them to live, what is the point of the truce if they locked up in Gazza with no food or medicine or any aid from the outside world to enter
4) Palestinians try to get Israel to open borders by desprately firing homemade rockets (all they got). One Arab Israeli dies.
5) Israel responds by bombarding the entire population with heavy air strikes, killing more than 350 and injuring 1500+ in three days. U.N official sources say that at least 63 women and children have been killed so far. Male civilians are not counted in this official estimate.
6) The rest of the death tolls are Hamas Government workers including public school teachers, public hospitals workers, local policemen and road traffic police.
7) Israel declares this operation will continue for long period.
9) Israel keeps getting support from Bush administration and American taxes.

Hammas threw rockets at Ashqelon and Ashdod (my city)…
Don’t listen to Sain Sanity, he hasn’t been to Israel or Gaza so he doesn’t know what he talks about.
Aren’t you getting that we have an alarm every hour here in Ashdod??? All schools and educative centers are closed and I didn’t go to school today because it’s f**kin dangerous, rockets are flying over my head.

There was a cease fire. Hammas broke the cease fire by shooting rockets into Israel. Israel responded by defending themselves.

The “elected” rulers of the Palestinians has committed acts of war against Israel by launching rockets and mortars into Israel without provocation. Despite several unprovoked attacks by the hamas government, Israel did not militarily respond initially. Israel made several demands that Hamas cease fire. Hamas failed to obey this reasonable demand, and continued its aggressions upon Israeli citizens, not military targets. Israel grew weary of this and has now responded militarily, and is crushing the aggressors. Fair enough.

6000 rockets fired into Israel in 3 years.

Hamas, which is known as a terrorist organization, has fired 3,000 rockets into Israel since the cease fire agreement. Last week alone, over 300 rockets were fired into Israel.
Israel is sick of the rockets and is trying to send Hamas a message that they want the rockets to end.
If Canada was firing rockets into the USA, don’t you think we’d fire back??

There was a truce between Israel and Gaza. Things may have not been ideal people living in Gaza but there wasn’t any killing between the two sides.
They don’t like each other, that much is very apparent, BUT there was a cease fire.
The day the ceasefire ended Hamas launched over 200 rockets into Israel. Israel had to do something. They could sit there and continue to be bombarded with rockets, or they could respond. Israel chose to respond. Everyone knows that Israel vs Hamas is like a F-22 vs a man with a stick.
Israel “could” completely destroy everyone and everything in the Gaza, but they are trying to only target the militants of Hamas. Yes innocent civilians are dying, but it could be much worse. They could just destroy the whole region.
Israel looks like the bad guys to most of the world, because Israel is much stronger, but it doesn’t matter who you are, if there is a group of militants on ANY country’s border launching 200 rockets a day at them, that country is going to respond.
Of course all this information that I’m giving you, is only what the news media has chosen to tell us. I don’t live in Israel or Gaza, so who knows for sure but them, and hatred blinds both sides so much that they probably don’t even know the truth.
It’s a never ending feud until one side loses permanently. Unfortunately for the palestineans it looks like Israel will be likely be the victor.
