Israel has the right to close up gaza’s borders? To decide who and what can and can’t go in and exit? Would it be okay for Iran or Iraq to do the same to Israel?
Egypt decides its own future and does not listen to Israel? You are aware that Israel gets 1/3rd of all US foreign aid due to the power of the american Jewish Lobby I am sure. R U also aware that Egypt is the # 2 recipient of US aid — @ 17% — as part of the deal to have peace with Israel? Egypt’s leaders are bought off

Yes, they left GAZA,but they can’t close up GAZA.Israel only closes their borders and the Eygptian side that is bordered with GAZA is up to the Eygptians to decide.Eygpt is a arab country that decides it’s own future and does not listen to Israel.They are responsible for their own decisions in what they do with their border with GAZA.Israel were worried about the terrorist that were trying to attack them.Any country has the right to close their borders.

They never really attempted to leave Gaza. They took several thousand Jewish settlers out of Gaza, moving many of them to the occupied W bank — along with many thousands more. Net result, more Jews illegally living on the Occupied territories.
Israel maintained absolute control over everyone and everything that could enter or leave Gaza. When the Palis voted in a manner Israel did not approve of, they cut off necessary food, water, meds, etc. to punish them. This is not “leaving Gaza”

Ok, Israel have made mistakes, but they attempted to leave GAZA and it didn’t pay off.Barack Obama is all talk,just wait and see if he does, anything to help the palestinians.He says alot, but does very little in actually doing anything.If you think Barack Obama will do anything against Israel I think it would surprise even his supporters.Agreement has to be reached by the Palestinians and the Israelis.Peace can be reached by both parties.

If Israel is the occupier (which it is — is this debatable) and kills dozens as many noncombatants as do the Palis (this is beyond doubt), then surely the lion’s share of the guilt lies with Israel, not the Palestinians.
Israel does not want peace, they want continued and expanded domination. Hence, the outcry when Obama said the status quo cannot stand — Israel likes the status quo.
I don’t speak of the average Israeli, who has been fear mongered by his leaders into going along with

Israel, of course, put a stranglehold on Gaza as soon as the people there did not vote “the right way”.
Israel, of course, killed nearly 100 times as many people in its three week assault on Gaza as have been jkilled by Hamas “rockets” in eight years. One hundred times the killing in 1/1,000th of the time. Imagine that.

Israel fully intended to enjoy normal economic relations with Gaza after it left, as evidenced in part by the facilities built along the border for precisely this purpose.
The border was open.
Then Hamas was elected to govern. The Quartet (the US, UN, EU and Russia) applied three simple
conditions: Hamas must recognize Israel, renounce violence, and abide by previous agreements.
Hamas refused all three, and instead chose to launch rockets, missiles and mortars at Israeli towns.

I hope this is no double post,first didn’t show up here. You are very right from your point of view, I think. It is so wonderful, that this “very sweet baby”
has been saved by these wonderful doctors. Yes. But there are so many others killed… For example, in the last days people with cancer in Gaza couldn’t be treated, could often not even go to a hospital… the way is blocked. So this is why people, without propaganda hopefully, talk, with a reason. Don’t you think?

Each expulsion and wave of religious persecution led to movement of Jews to Israel. Jews lived there alongside Muslim and Christian Arabs, Greeks, Druze Beduins and other minorities. The whole reason for this conflict to be so painfull is that both Palestinians and Jews have valid claims to the same piece of land.
