It is historically inaccurate to call the Palestinians Arabs as they were mainly Arabised only.
As for peace, the Israelis (Jewish invaders and occupiers of Palestine) contrary to what they would have us believe have always had peace. The level of protection afforded to them by state of the art western made weapons and now the medieval style fortress wall is unparalleled anywhere in the world. The same cannot be said of life as a Palestinian who live a life of torment and victimization.

As for the Palestinians, the overwhelming majority are indigenous to Palestine going right back to the lands earliest settled period (Canaan). As with any countries invaders, a degree of settlement and assimilation with the indigenous populations would have taken place, and in case, Palestine was no different. It is more accurate to say that the Palestinians are indigenous but have mixed in varying degrees with those that have come to occupy their land.

My brother, 95% of Jews in Palestine today are 1st or 2nd generation migrants from Europe, America (Ashkenazi) and the Maghreb..so the overwhelming majority of Jews are NOT Levantine. “Many” Palestinians were not Jews that stayed hidden. The majority of Jews were wiped out or sent into exile and those very few that remained, would have converted to Christianity and subsequently Islam.

Palestianian are like Bosnians in the middle east.
Bosniak people was christian, but latter the converted to the Islam. Many Palestinian were Jews who stayed hiddenred of Roman Empire, latter converted to the Islam.
So not all Jews are Levantine People, and not all Palestinians were origin, but at least half of them have very similar genetics.
So when Israeli and Palestinian people stay in Peace, the world will stay peace, and new era will born.

As for Hamas wanting to reclaim all of Historic Palestine, I believe this is a fantasy–and Hamas has already begun recognizing it. Their leadership has made several statements signaling that they are prepared to negotiate based on the two-state settlement.
I personally favor a one-state solution–call it Israel, Palestine, or the Holy Land Republic for all I care, as long as citizenship and equal rights are granted to the millions of Palestinians under military occupation since 1967.

I would agree that Hamas is an odious group, and certainly unpalatable. You must remember, however, that they were in part created, and certainly encouraged, by Israel in their nascency (as a counterbalance to the PLO).
Immigrant Jewish communities came from “modern,” industrial societies and were highly organized nationalists. At the time, Palestinians had a very weak national identity, and were largely farmers and landless peasants. I would say this gave the Zionists a certain advantage.

The official policy of the PLO prior to the 1980s–when they capitulated and accepted the (inherently racist) “two-state solution” of the West–was a single state, with freedom and equality for all its citizens (including Jews). This does not sound very racist to me.
What you call “boycotts” and European colonialism/land appropriation are very different things. The boycott was merely a component.

No pogroms before the British allowed immigrant Jewish communities to purchase land from absentee landlords in Lebanon, Syria and elsewhere; no pogroms before those communities boycotted Arab goods, refused to employ Arabs or sell them land. In short, no pogroms before European Jews began colonizing Palestine (and that violence was reciprocated).
I am offering no justifications; just contextualization. The violence was not based on racism. However, Zionism is.
