Any reasoning to overabundance of terror/militant groups?

Read news about Islamic group claiming responsibility for FOILED attack on US in Germany. Read about FOILED attack in Turkey. There was also news about Israel being attacked by still another militant/terror group from Gaza with rockets which injured over 40 soldier recruits. And still there’s the news about Syria’s complain to UN about Israel violating airspace in North of Syria, apparently while searching and trying to destroy weapons sent to Hamas from Iran!!! Weeks and months ago there were arrests of terrorists and FOILED plans to attack New Jersey base, JFK Airport, and EXPLSOVIVE carrying Muslim men from Florida caught near Carolina military base. The list could go on. None really of huge proportion, but still plans. And all FOILED!!! Now, lacking as these groups are in any real leadership_for Osama may be an influence but not more than that_and being as dispersed, distanced from one another, without real strategy, etc., Isn’t that an exercise in futility on terrorist part?

No it is not. The beauty of Terrorism is that the terror and billions of dollars we waste foiling them is their punishment.
When we throw away freedoms and fund a Nazi style militaristic police to hunt them down we are giving them the very victory they are looking for. We will become the evil empire they claim us to be trying to hunt them down.
