If u check in from home, i think u can arrive at the airport ust 1 and half hours in advance because you need to check in your baggage and go through the VERY LONG security. But otherwise, just hang out at the airport if you have extra time but probably at JFK, i doubt it. have a good flight.

ELAL will still screeen your luggage at this airport.
It doesn’t matter what class you are flying. I would strongly suggest to arrive at least 2 hrs prior departure.
If not sure call, ElAl reps., they do recommand 3 hrs., so it is up to you.

Airlines suggest arriving at least 3 hours before departure on international flights.
El Al, however, has its own terminal and the check-in line for business class will not be that long… it won’t take you much time to get through it (or the security check-point) if you decide to check your luggage.
My experience last month at JFK (but I flew on Qantas, not El Al — different terminal) was the security folks really have perfected the screening. There weren’t any long lines (LAX is a whole different story….).
I suggest allowing at least 1 1/2 hours to make sure you have enough time.
Have a great trip!
